Description
Falsterbo: Vint Anys (LP, PDI, 1987)
Twenty Years This is the commemorative album that Falsterbo released in 1987 to celebrate two decades of activity. This LP edition by PDI, catalog number 30.1388, features eleven songs in Catalan. Montse Domènech and Eduard Estivill appear on this track, which also includes guest appearances by artists connected to the Catalan music scene.
Musical genre: Catalan folk.
Collaborators include Joan Manuel Serrat, Ia Clua, Ia i Batiste, Francesc Pi de la Serra, Guillermina Motta, Dos+Un, and Ricard Miralles. The repertoire combines songs associated with Catalan folk music with adaptations of artists such as Peter Yarrow, Tom Paxton, and John Denver, as well as traditional folk material. Thus, the album serves as a retrospective look at Falsterbo's career, featuring guest vocalists on various tracks and a repertoire sung entirely in Catalan.
The record retains its original seal. Because it has remained sealed, it has not been opened for visual inspection or playback verification. It is being sold as a collector's item, exactly as shown in the photographs.
