Description

Music for Young Carriages, Vol. 5 – RCA compilation

Volume 5 of Music for young floats It's an RCA compilation LP, dated 1981 and cataloged under the reference NL 43489. The cover presents it as a collection of "original versions" and credits the performers alongside their songs. This volume brings together ten recordings by various artists: Umberto Bindi, Los Red Caps, Neil Sedaka, Paul Anka, Pérez Prado, Rita Pavone, Nico Fidenco, Sam Cooke, Los Sonor, and Orquesta Aragón. It is not a solo album by any of them.

Side A opens with "Il mio mondo" by Umberto Bindi and "La mantequilla" by Los Red Caps. These are followed by "La chica del calendario" by Neil Sedaka, "Cada noche" by Paul Anka, and "Patricia" by Pérez Prado. Side B begins with "Qué me importa del mundo" by Rita Pavone, followed by "Contigo en la playa" by Nico Fidenco, "Shake" by Sam Cooke, "El twist del mundo" by Los Sonor, and "El bodeguero" by Orquesta Aragón. The collection alternates titles in Italian, Spanish, and English and combines pop, light music, rock and roll, twist, and Latin rhythms, as described for this edition. The track listing retains the order and credits printed in the copy.

The lime green cover retains visual elements from the series: the number 5, the RCA logo, the heading "Music for Young Folks," and the labels "Original Versions," "Special Price," and "As Seen on TV." Titles and artist names intersect a composite image of several people dancing and listening to music. The back cover lists the track listings with performers and durations, along with information about the collection. To verify the label, catalog number, format, year, and track listing, you can consult this [link/reference]. RCA edition reference NL 43489.

As it is a compilation, no main biography is fabricated: the artists are individually identified on the front and back covers. The liner notes do not attribute composers or provide additional credits that cannot be verified in those images. The track listing and references distinguish this issue from the other LPs in the series, and internal links lead to nearby volumes.
