Luis Cobos was born in Campo de Criptana and began his musical training there. The professional biography published by the Zaragoza City Council indicates that he studied solfège and music theory, learned to play the requinto guitar, and joined the Beethoven Philharmonic Band as a child; he also played alto saxophone in the Mambo Orchestra. In 1968, he founded the group Conexión, which the biography associates with jazz and soul influences, before developing his work as a musical director and producer. In 1982, he recorded Operetta with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, a period that preceded several widely distributed instrumental albums. The same biography includes Capriccio Russo Among his later works, it mentions Cobos's collaboration with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra. This background places this 1986 release within his discography without confusing it with his other albums. Consult the Biography of Luis Cobos and their biographical and professional data.
